To celebrate you, we added, at no extra charge, a much more personalized Virtual Fitness to enhance your Y membership, whether you are on-site or at home taking care of yourselves. Or both!
Virtual Y is a platform where you get to build a personalized workout routine that’s just right for you. Stay healthy from the comfort of your own home with our Y group exercise classes made for your living room. All you have to do is hit ‘play’ and move!
This added virtual feature is included in your monthly membership at no additional charge. To access virtual Y please visit our website; www.smvymca.org and click the Virtual Y icon. Enter your scan card barcode numbers. Don’t have a scan card? Contact our Membership Director, Cathy Otero at email@example.com and she will get you set up.
At the Y! The Y is still putting your safety above all else and adding to the outdoor on-site fitness and mental wellness options. A highly requested Wednesday 10:30 am yoga class is being added to our list of current classes on January 13th for your self-care and strength training.
There are some people who excel in distance fitness and are so self-motivated that they are able to complete a class from start to finish, even when no one is there to witness it!
Then there are some of us who need that safely distanced community of a group class to hold us accountable to ourselves. I mean, who hasn’t been working out at home and stopped 20 (or 5) minutes into it to get some water, move the laundry, answer the phone………you know the drill.
You know what else you know? You.
Whatever suits you, exactly where you are today, is the right thing for you.
And the Y can meet you there.
